| Fish Eye in Love
If you have read Misunderstood, you know that I consider Fish Eye falling in love with Mamoru an important turning point. Mamoru was what caused Fish Eye to want to have dreams, and revolt. I feel that it's very sweet of Fish Eye. So get ready to hear the story of Fish Eye and Mamoru, what could've but never been.
Tigers Eye and Hawks Eye were looking over potential victims. None of them seemed interested. Fish Eye came over. He saw the picture of Mamoru and immediately fell in love. It was decided. Mamoru was going to be their next victim.
Fish Eye approached Mamoru in a pet store, where he was deciding to buy some fish. Fish Eye pretended to be hurt to attract Mamoru. When Mamoru helped him, Fish Eye felt a strange power that frightened him. He saw Usagi come along with Diana. Now Fish Eye is originally a fish, so he was scared to death of Diana. He quickly exited, leaving an angry Usagi and a red-faced Mamoru.
Fish Eye doesn't give up so easily ^_^. He cornered Mamoru when he was walking home from school and tried to kiss him. Mamoru resisted. When asked why, he replied that the girl he loved was full of beautiful dreams.
Fish Eye began to wonder if he possessed dreams or not. He tried to extract a dream-mirror from Tigers Eye. It came out and after a few seconds, faded. Fish Eye questioned Zirconia, who showed them their true forms. Zirconia told them that only the Golden Horn could let them stay humans forever, and they had until the next full moon to find it.
Fish Eye first found Mamoru and asked him to date him, in exchange for Fish Eye's protection. Mamoru refuses once again. Fish Eye gets mad and takes out Mamoru's dream-mirror. Pegasus was not in it. A look of rage came over Fish Eye's face. He pulled out a knife, but instead of stabbing Mamoru, he stuck it into the board Mamoru was tied on. Fish Eye sighed and turned into his human form. He kissed Mamoru and said goodbye ::sniff::.
The jilted lover with a broken heart. Fish Eye didn't care if he was human or not. He sat on the bench, wet from the rain. He heard a voice. It was Usagi. She brought him to her house so that he could dry out. She also wanted to talk about Mamoru.
During their conversation, Fish Eye realizes that this odango-atama is Sailor Moon! Before he could respond Usagi was called away on an errand, leaving Fish Eye to wander around the house. He saw ChibiUsa talking to Pegasus, and realized that ChibiUsa possessed the coveted dream-mirror in which Pegasus was hiding! He kidnapped ChibiUsa and went back to the Dead Moon Circus tent.
Zirconia is furious, after witnessing the episode at Usagi's house. She selects her as the next victim, despite Fish Eye's protests that she didn't possess Pegasus. She sends Hawks Eye to do the job. With Hawks Eye is a ball that, when combined with Pegasus' horn, will grant them their wish of staying humans. Fish Eye wriggles out of Tigers Eye's grasp and goes after Hawks Eye.
Fish Eye was right, Usagi didn't possess Pegasus. A Lemure sent by the Amazoness Quartet showed up. He sent a bullet through Hawks Eye and broke Usagi's dream-mirror. Hawks Eye was dying. Fish Eye convinced the others to use the ball and the last of their powers to revive Usagi aka Sailor Moon. He said she could save them. Tigers Eye agreed. Fish Eye brought back ChibiUsa. Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi-Moon save the day, as usual. Fish Eye tells Sailor Moon how he envied her ability to dream, and Sailor Moon realizes that he was that girl who hit on Mamoru. Then Fish Eye turned into a fish and died.
Don't despair just yet. Pegasus comes and revives the Amazon Trio. He gave them dream-mirrors and took them away to Elysion, where they could hide until the battles were over.... |
